From the information reaching us is that A total of 19 secondary school students have been detained by the Nigerian police for alleged membership to a popular cult group known as EIYE Confraternity.
The suspects consisting of 6 girls and 13 boys which are students of All Soul’s Anglican Grammar school Ado Ekiti were said to have confessed to the school’s security agent of their membership to the EIYE cult group.
The principal of the secondary school, Mrs Grace Ibikunle told journalists who visited the school yesterday that the arrest followed a disagreement between a male and female student over love overtures made to the female student.
The Police PRO in charge, Mr. Victor Babayemi confirmed the arrest, saying the students were all arrested following complaints from both their teachers and parents over their alleged involvement in cultism. He however added that the suspects have all been released to their parents on bail. If this guys start Cultism while still secondary school, what is going to happen if they get into the University? All that come to my mind is Shun Cultism In Nigeria
And girls? Our future wives involved in cultist activities? Well all we can do watch and I Pray For Nigeria!
